Verdikx vs Disputifier at a glance
| Feature | Verdikx | Disputifier |
|---|---|---|
| Fraud screening before fulfillment | Yes, on Growth and up: after the order is placed and before it ships (Verdikx never blocks checkout), a 0 to 100 risk score with plain-English reasons on new Shopify orders, IP intelligence, a storefront device pixel, blocklists and Verdikx Network history; High-risk orders are held for your review, and custom risk rules are on Pro | Automated fraud protection on its Shopify listing; Fraud Prevention is listed without a price on its pricing page[1][2] |
| Who decides on a risky order | You do. Verdikx scores the order and explains why, holds High-risk orders for your review (on by default) and runs rules you write on Pro. Verdikx never cancels an order on its own. With order screening (Growth and up), it holds risky Shopify orders and orders from customers you block, and you decide whether to cancel. Autopilot never accepts a dispute | Not publicly stated |
| Shared merchant network | Opt-in Verdikx Network (new, so signals are few at first): stores that join share chargeback and refund-abuse outcomes as keyed one-way hashes (HMAC-SHA256), never raw customer data; a shopper is flagged only once three other participating merchant accounts report them, and your decisions and blocklists are never shared | Not publicly stated |
| Chargeback management | Yes: an evidence record for every order, AI-assisted drafts and submission for Shopify Payments and Stripe (live), more processors in beta, and chargebacks from any processor or bank by email or CSV | Chargeback Responses: fully automated AI-powered chargeback fighting[1][2] |
| Returns and refund abuse | Yes, on Growth and up: refund-abuse scores, customer risk profiles and return-request recommendations (approve, review or decline-recommended) with reasons | Not publicly stated |
| Pricing model | Flat subscription (billed through Shopify for Shopify stores, by card for others): Starter $29, Growth $79, Pro $199 a month, yearly saves 20%. Not a percentage of recovered chargebacks or of order value: Verdikx takes no cut of what you win back | Results-based: Chargeback Responses at 20% of recovered revenue, capped at $250 per recovery; alerts priced per alert; no subscription, minimum or lock-in[2][1] |
| Guarantee | No outcome guarantee and no chargeback reimbursement: banks and card networks decide disputes, and the merchant keeps fraud liability | Advertises a "Guaranteed increase in win rate" on Chargeback Responses, with no figure stated[2] |
| Store platforms | Shopify app for Shopify stores; WooCommerce (beta) and processor-only workspaces created on verdikx.com and paid by card. BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Magento 2, commercetools, VTEX and Miva connect directly (beta); marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay and Etsy coming soon | Shopify (App Store listing)[1] |
| Payment processors | Shopify Payments and Stripe live; Braintree, Adyen, Checkout.com, Authorize.net, Klarna and Afterpay in beta; PayPal and Square coming soon; chargeback notices from any processor or bank by email or CSV | Shopify listing names Afterpay, Authorize.net, Klarna, PayPal, Recharge and Stripe among the services it works with[1] |
| Automation and control | Autopilot on Growth and up: automatic drafts, and opt-in auto-submission only inside merchant-set limits, by default 48 hours before the deadline. Verdikx never cancels an order on its own. With order screening (Growth and up), it holds risky Shopify orders and orders from customers you block, and you decide whether to cancel. Autopilot never accepts a dispute | Describes fully automated chargeback fighting[1] |
| AI-written responses | AI-assisted drafts the merchant can review and edit, and an AI claim check that sets the cardholder's claim against the store's records: AI drafts and the AI claim check for 10 cases a month on Starter (one shared count), unlimited AI drafts and AI claim checks (fair use) on Growth and Pro | AI-powered chargeback fighting[1] |
| Chargeback alerts | Stripe early fraud warnings with auto-refund policies (live, Growth and up); Visa RDR and Mastercard Ethoca alerts coming soon | Chargeback alerts from $17 to $27.50 per alert on its Shopify listing, with false-positive, duplicate and nonrefunded alerts credited automatically; the card networks behind them are not publicly stated[1][2] |
| Free trial or free tier | 7-day free trial on every plan | Free to install; Basic Plan with a "7 Day Risk-Free Trial"; Chargeback Responses charged only on won chargebacks[1][2] |
| Contract | Monthly or yearly plan through Shopify Billing for Shopify stores; cancel anytime | No subscription, no minimum and no lock-in[2] |
The short version
Verdikx is a fraud, chargeback and dispute platform for e-commerce and SaaS merchants, made by Verdikx LLC (New Jersey, United States). It installs as a Shopify app, screens new orders for fraud, keeps an evidence record for every order, prepares dispute responses across payment processors and flags returns abuse, on a flat subscription.
Disputifier's Shopify App Store listing describes fully automated, AI-powered chargeback fighting, chargeback alerts, automated fraud protection and shipping notifications to prevent item-not-received chargebacks. Its pricing page lists Chargeback Responses at 20% of recovered revenue, capped at $250 per recovery, says merchants pay only for won chargebacks, and states no subscription, no minimum and no lock-in. It also advertises a "Guaranteed increase in win rate" without stating a figure.
The biggest practical difference is how cost scales. With Disputifier's fee you pay more as you win more: a won $200 chargeback costs $40, and a won $2,000 chargeback costs $250 because of the cap. With a flat plan, the monthly cost is known in advance and does not change with the size or number of wins: Verdikx takes no cut of what you win back. Verdikx Growth costs the same as a 20% fee at $395 recovered a month; below that, Disputifier's fee costs less.
Both describe fraud screening. Disputifier's listing names automated fraud protection, and its pricing page lists Fraud Prevention without a price; neither page says when it runs or who decides on a risky order. Verdikx includes screening from Growth up: it runs after the order is placed and before it ships, never at checkout, scores each order with explained risk reasons, and holds High-risk orders for your review: Verdikx never cancels an order on its own.
How to choose
- Estimate your monthly recovered amount. Take the chargebacks you won last quarter, divide by three, and apply 20% to each recovery, or $250 on any recovery above $1,250. Compare that with a flat plan on the pricing page; Disputifier pricing works through four volumes.
- Decide whether you want one subscription or separate products. Verdikx covers order screening, chargeback management and returns abuse in one subscription. Disputifier lets you pick products, each billed on results, with alerts priced per alert.
- Check your processors. Disputifier's Shopify listing names Afterpay, Authorize.net, Klarna, PayPal, Recharge and Stripe among the services it works with. Verdikx lists every processor and its maturity (live, beta or coming soon) on Connections.
- Decide how much control you want over submissions. Verdikx Autopilot submits only inside limits you set and where the processor allows it; otherwise you review and confirm each response.
- Ask about chargeback alerts. If alerts are a priority today, note that Disputifier lists them now, while Verdikx's Visa RDR and Mastercard Ethoca alerts are coming soon.
When Disputifier is the better choice
- You want chargeback alerts running today, priced per alert, with false-positive, duplicate and nonrefunded alerts credited.
- You prefer to pay nothing for dispute responses until a chargeback is won, with no subscription or minimum, and you recover less than $395 a month, where a 20% fee costs less than Verdikx Growth.
- You need a direct PayPal connection today: Disputifier's Shopify listing names PayPal among the services it works with, while Verdikx's direct PayPal connection is coming soon.
- You want shipping notifications aimed at preventing item-not-received chargebacks, which Disputifier's Shopify listing describes.
When Verdikx is the better choice
- You want a predictable bill: a flat plan with a 7-day free trial, instead of a share of every recovered chargeback: Verdikx takes no cut of what you win back.
- You want order screening, dispute evidence, AI-assisted drafts and returns-abuse checks in one place, with plain-English reasons for every risk score.
- You want to stay in control: nothing is submitted unless you confirm it or have turned on Autopilot rules. Verdikx never cancels an order on its own. With order screening (Growth and up), it holds risky Shopify orders and orders from customers you block, and you decide whether to cancel. Autopilot never accepts a dispute.
- You want refund and returns abuse reviewed in the same tool, with a recommendation and reasons on each return request.
- You want cross-store fraud signals on your terms: the Verdikx Network is opt-in, shares outcomes as keyed hashes rather than customer data, and flags a shopper only after three other participating merchant accounts report them.
Verdikx does not guarantee dispute outcomes: banks and card networks decide disputes.

Does Verdikx offer a guarantee like Disputifier's?
No. Disputifier's pricing page advertises a "Guaranteed increase in win rate" on Chargeback Responses without stating a figure. Does Verdikx have chargeback alerts like Disputifier?
Not yet. Card-network alerts (Visa RDR and Mastercard Ethoca) are coming soon to Verdikx.
