The short version

Verdikx is a fraud, chargeback and dispute platform for e-commerce and SaaS merchants, made by Verdikx LLC (New Jersey, United States). It installs as a Shopify app, screens new orders for fraud, keeps an evidence record for every order, prepares dispute responses across payment processors and flags returns abuse, on a flat subscription.

Chargeblast's Shopify App Store listing describes Deflection ("Stop fraudulent disputes before they reach the issuer"), pre-dispute alerts with auto-refund, Recovery ("We fight chargebacks using data & expertise") and one dashboard for disputes and alerts. It prices alerts per alert, $19 per Visa alert and $29 per Mastercard alert, with no monthly fee. The listing does not state a free trial, a percentage fee or a price for Recovery.

The two start at different points. A pre-dispute alert arrives after a cardholder contacts their bank and before a chargeback is filed, and refunding at that point usually ends the dispute (see Rapid Dispute Resolution). Verdikx works before and after that point: it screens orders before they ship, keeps an evidence record for every order, and prepares responses for the chargebacks that do arrive. Its Visa RDR and Mastercard Ethoca alerts are coming soon.

The cost models differ too. Pay-per-alert pricing follows your alert volume and costs nothing in a month without alerts. A Verdikx plan is a flat subscription that stays the same however many disputes you answer.

How to choose

  1. Count your alerts and disputes. Multiply the Visa and Mastercard alerts you expect by Chargeblast's per-alert prices, then compare with a flat plan on the pricing page.
  2. Decide what you need first. If refunding before a dispute is filed would stop most of your losses, alerts come first. If you need to screen orders and answer chargebacks with evidence, compare those.
  3. Ask what Recovery costs. Chargeblast's listing does not state a price for it.
  4. Check your processors. Confirm each processor you use is supported, and at what maturity, on Connections.

When Chargeblast is the better choice

  • You need Visa and Mastercard pre-dispute alerts today; Verdikx's Visa RDR and Mastercard Ethoca alerts are coming soon.
  • You want no monthly fee and to pay only for the alerts you receive.

When Verdikx is the better choice

  • You want order screening before you ship, dispute evidence and AI-assisted drafts, and returns-abuse checks in one flat subscription, with a 7-day free trial.
  • You want a published price for answering chargebacks, not only for alerts.
  • You want to stay in control: nothing is submitted unless you confirm it or have turned on Autopilot rules. Verdikx never cancels an order on its own. With order screening (Growth and up), it holds risky Shopify orders and orders from customers you block, and you decide whether to cancel. Autopilot never accepts a dispute.
  • You take chargebacks from several processors and want them in one inbox, including notices forwarded by email or uploaded as CSV.

Verdikx does not guarantee dispute outcomes: banks and card networks decide disputes.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Chargeblast cost compared with Verdikx?

Chargeblast's Shopify listing prices alerts per alert, $19 per Visa alert and $29 per Mastercard alert, with no monthly fee, and does not state a price for its Recovery service. Verdikx plans are flat: Starter $29, Growth $79 and Pro $199 a month, with yearly billing saving 20%, and no share of what you win. Which costs less depends on how many alerts and disputes you have.

Does Verdikx have Visa and Mastercard alerts like Chargeblast?

Not yet. Card-network alerts (Visa RDR and Mastercard Ethoca) are coming soon to Verdikx. Today Verdikx brings Stripe early fraud warnings into one inbox and can refund them automatically under policies you set, on the Growth and Pro plans. Chargeblast's listing offers Visa and Mastercard pre-dispute alerts now.

Can I use Chargeblast and Verdikx together?

Alerts and dispute management cover different moments: an alert lets you refund before a chargeback is filed, and dispute management answers the chargebacks that still arrive. Verdikx takes chargeback notices from any processor by email or CSV. If you run both, check that their auto-refund rules do not act on the same orders.
