Quick answers
Does Verdikx charge a success fee like Chargeflow?
No. Chargeflow's pricing page lists Automation at 25% per recovered chargeback (checked 2026-10-05). Verdikx self-serve plans are subscriptions from $29 a month with usage included: no success fee, no revenue share and no percentage of order value, so Verdikx takes no cut of what you win back. Which costs less depends on how much you recover.
Does Verdikx guarantee orders like Signifyd, Riskified or Forter?
No. Signifyd, Riskified and Forter describe chargeback protection or a financial guarantee on orders they approve or review, priced as a percentage of approved order value (Signifyd) or at rates their listings do not show (Riskified, Forter). Verdikx is control software: on Growth and Pro it scores each new order with plain-English reasons and you decide what ships. If a fraudulent order gets through, Verdikx helps you fight the chargeback but does not reimburse it.
Which tool lets the merchant decide on risky orders?
Verdikx does. Verdikx never cancels an order on its own. With order screening (Growth and up), it holds risky Shopify orders and orders from customers you block, and you decide whether to cancel. Autopilot never accepts a dispute. Guarantee providers make the approve-or-decline decision themselves, and Chargeflow describes Prevent as auto-verifying or cancelling risky orders (sources and dates on each page).

How to choose fraud and chargeback software
- Where it acts. Some tools screen orders before they ship (fraud prevention); others answer disputes after they arrive (chargeback management). Many stores need both.
- How it is priced. A flat subscription, a percentage of recovered chargebacks, or a fee per screened or approved order. Model each against your own volume with the chargeback software pricing guide and the chargeback fee calculator, or see the cost breakdowns for Chargeflow, Disputifier, Signifyd and NoFraud.
- Who is in control. Check whether you approve submissions and cancellations, and whether automation has limits and a kill switch.
- Your stack. Confirm direct connections to your store platform and every processor you use, and which are live versus beta.
- Evidence quality. Look for reason-code-specific evidence (for example Visa Compelling Evidence 3.0) rather than one template for every dispute.
