The short version

Verdikx is a fraud, chargeback and dispute platform for e-commerce and SaaS merchants, made by Verdikx LLC (New Jersey, United States). It installs as a Shopify app, screens new orders for fraud, keeps an evidence record for every order, prepares dispute responses across payment processors and flags returns abuse, on a flat subscription.

NoFraud's Shopify App Store listing now appears as Wyllo (formerly NoFraud + Yofi). The listing describes payment fraud protection, bot and reseller detection, return fraud prevention and claim and policy abuse prevention. Its paid plans include a "Guarantee on Fraud Chargebacks we Passed", and the listing shows a free Screening Only plan alongside guarantee plans listed at $250, $350 and $450 a month.

The core difference is the guarantee. NoFraud's paid plans cover fraud chargebacks on orders it passed. Verdikx does not reimburse chargebacks; it focuses on explained screening, evidence and responses for every dispute type, at a flat price.

How to choose

  1. Split your chargebacks by reason. If most are stolen-card fraud, a fraud guarantee covers the bulk of your losses. If most are friendly fraud, "item not received" or "not as described", a guarantee on fraud chargebacks covers less, and evidence and responses matter more.
  2. Compare the full monthly cost. Add any plan fee and revenue-based percentage you are quoted, then compare with a flat Verdikx plan on the pricing page plus the losses you would still carry.
  3. Decide who makes the call on risky orders. Verdikx shows a risk score with plain-English reasons and leaves the decision to you; it holds risky orders and never cancels one on its own.
  4. Check returns coverage. Both describe returns-abuse features; compare how each explains its recommendations. See returns abuse.

When NoFraud (Wyllo) is the better choice

  • You want fraud chargebacks on approved orders covered by a guarantee, rather than handling that risk yourself.
  • You want verdicts written back to your BigCommerce store. Verdikx's BigCommerce connection (beta) syncs orders read-only and writes nothing back yet; Wyllo's website references BigCommerce.
  • You want bot and reseller detection, which the Wyllo listing describes.
  • You process very few orders and the free Screening Only plan covers your volume.

When Verdikx is the better choice

  • You want one flat price that covers screening, dispute evidence, AI-assisted drafts and returns-abuse checks, with a 7-day free trial.
  • Many of your disputes are not stolen-card fraud, so you need strong responses for friendly fraud and delivery disputes. See item not received disputes.
  • You want chargebacks from several processors in one inbox, including notices forwarded by email or uploaded as CSV.
  • You want plain-English reasons for every risk score and the final say on every order.

Verdikx does not guarantee dispute outcomes or reimburse chargebacks: banks and card networks decide disputes.

Frequently asked questions

Is NoFraud now called Wyllo?

On the Shopify App Store, the NoFraud app now appears as Wyllo (formerly NoFraud + Yofi), developed by Wyllo, LLC. The listing describes payment fraud protection, return fraud prevention and claim and policy abuse prevention, with a guarantee on fraud chargebacks it passed in paid plans. Check its listing for the latest plans.

How much does NoFraud cost?

The Wyllo (formerly NoFraud) Shopify listing shows a free Screening Only plan with a 14-day trial, then up to 100 orders a month, and guarantee plans listed at $250, $350 and $450 a month, with revenue-based pricing for guaranteed plans and custom pricing for larger stores. Verdikx plans are flat at $29, $79 and $199 a month.

Does Verdikx guarantee fraud chargebacks like NoFraud?

No. Verdikx does not reimburse chargebacks or guarantee outcomes. It screens orders with explained risk scores, then helps you win disputes with evidence and AI-assisted responses. If a fraud guarantee is what you need most, a guarantee provider may fit better; if you want flat pricing and control, Verdikx may.

Which is better for friendly fraud?

A guarantee on fraud chargebacks typically covers orders a provider approved that turn out to be stolen-card fraud. Friendly fraud, where a real customer disputes a purchase they made, usually has to be fought with evidence such as delivery proof and customer messages. Verdikx builds that evidence for every order. Ask any provider which dispute reasons its guarantee covers.
