Changelog

What's new
in Verdikx.

The Verdikx changelog lists what has shipped, newest first and grouped by month, in plain language: fraud screening, chargeback and dispute automation, returns-abuse review, connections, pricing and security. Only live features appear here. Beta connections are labelled beta, and anything coming soon is added once it is switched on for merchants.

October 2026

  1. Your first paid month back if Verdikx isn't worth it

Every plan still starts with a free trial. Now, if Verdikx isn't worth it in your first paid month, email us within 30 days of that first charge and we'll refund that month, once per store. It refunds your subscription, not chargebacks, and banks still decide every dispute.

    See plans and pricing

  2. Guided connections and direct store platforms (beta)

Connections now walk you through each setup step by step. WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Magento 2, commercetools, VTEX and Miva connect directly (beta), and any other platform can push orders through the universal connector (beta). Every connection is labelled live, beta or not yet available, and the directory shows only what connects today.

    See all connections

  3. Safer sign-ins and owner-only security changes

Website sign-ins end after 24 hours without activity and store staff sign-ins after 12 hours. Creating API keys or webhooks and changing two-factor sign-in need your password or code from the last 10 minutes, API keys expire, and you can sign out of all devices from Settings. Sign-in and sign-up forms are protected against bots.

  4. Verdikx Network is opt-in, plus more privacy safeguards

Sharing fraud signals with the Verdikx Network is now something you turn on, not a default. Customer details are masked in more places, logs are redacted and signed-in sessions can be revoked.

    How the Verdikx Network works

  5. Chargeback software pricing guide and feature pages

A sourced guide to how chargeback tools are priced, pricing breakdowns for Chargeflow, Signifyd and NoFraud, a Why Verdikx page and pages for individual features.

Read the chargeback software pricing guide

  6. Cleaner evidence packets and messages

Every evidence packet and message Verdikx sends is checked for up-to-date store details, consistent branding and no leftover placeholder text.

  7. Free resources: glossary, reason codes and a fee calculator

Plain-language definitions of dispute terms, a reference for Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover reason codes, and a calculator for what chargebacks really cost.

    Browse the free resources

  8. Visa VAMP threshold and reason-code names updated

The Visa Acquirer Monitoring Program threshold and several reason-code names now match the networks' current rules. Dropdown menus also close when you click elsewhere.

    See the Visa reason codes

  9. AI risk explanations and customer profiles for every order

Each screened order gets a plain-English explanation grounded in its own signals, with an order detail page and a customer profile. This now covers WooCommerce (beta) and other non-Shopify orders too.

    About AI risk explanations

  10. Use Verdikx without Shopify

Merchants on WooCommerce (beta), another platform, or with processor disputes only can create a workspace on verdikx.com and pay by card.

    See the WooCommerce (beta) connection

  11. Automatic holds for High risk orders, with undo

High risk orders can be held automatically and released with one click. You can search orders by name, see disputes you prevented, and switch each automation off.

    See fraud prevention

  12. Every screened order gets a verdict automatically

On Growth and Pro, new orders are scored as they arrive, and when you override a verdict the change takes effect straight away.

  13. Feels native inside Shopify admin

In Shopify admin, Verdikx uses Shopify's own save bar, page titles and modals, with higher text contrast and controls that show which plan they need.

    See Verdikx for Shopify

  14. Clean uninstall and privacy requests

Shopify's customer data requests and redaction requests are handled automatically, and uninstalling the app cleans up your store's connection.

  15. Data processing agreement and security details

A data processing agreement, a list of subprocessors and a security page you can check before you install. All three are listed in the Trust Center.

    Visit the Trust Center

  16. Faster dashboard

Dashboard pages load faster, and customer lists and status labels were fixed.

  17. Clearer pricing

Plans are subscriptions with usage included and no percentage of what you win.

    See plans and pricing

  18. Honest labels on every connection

Beta processors are labelled as beta, and Visa and Mastercard dispute alerts are marked coming soon rather than described as live.

    See all connections

  19. Reliability at higher volume

Background work is shared fairly between stores, large imports run in batches, and Verdikx backs off politely when a provider is busy.

  20. Blocklists, IP intelligence and storefront device signals

Block or trust emails, IPs, devices and cards; flag orders from Tor exit nodes and data-center networks; and spot one device placing many orders with a storefront pixel.

    See fraud prevention

  21. Usage limits with a grace period

Each plan includes a monthly number of screened orders, with a warning before you reach it and a grace period after. Disputes and submissions are never limited.

    See plans and pricing

  22. Yearly plans and cancel from the app

Choose monthly or yearly billing, and cancel from Billing in the app without a call or email.

    See plans and pricing

  23. Stronger AI response letters

AI drafts read as a letter on your behalf, keep internal notes out of what the bank sees, and are checked so they never contain a statement that weakens your own case.

    See chargeback management

  24. Readable source records on every case

The records behind a case are shown as readable fields instead of raw data, and text across the app is larger and easier to read.

  25. Onboarding that shows what's at stake

Setup now starts from your store's own orders and disputes, so you see what you stand to protect before you configure anything.

  26. Help Center and the Ask Verdikx assistant

A searchable Help Center on the website, and an assistant in the dashboard that answers questions about your setup.

    Visit the Help Center

  27. Guided three-step case workspace

Each case follows three steps, with the full evidence packet in one continuous viewer and AI drafts available for cases you build by hand.

  28. Self-healing store connections

Shopify webhook subscriptions repair themselves, you can sync orders by hand, and a token renewal no longer shows up as an error.

  29. Dispute outcomes stay in sync

Won and lost outcomes are reconciled with your processors on a schedule, out-of-order updates are handled, and you can record an outcome or merge duplicate cases yourself.

  30. Evidence packets for every dispute source

Disputes from any source, including processor-only and emailed chargebacks, get an evidence packet, and a response can only be submitted once its packet is ready.

  31. Automatic cancellation is opt-in

Verdikx never cancels an order unless you turn automatic cancellation on, and fixes landed across orders, risk rules, prevention and returns.

  32. Dispute alerts for every store

New dispute alerts reach every connected store, with email alerts you can opt into.

  33. New sidebar navigation and app tour

The dashboard is organised into eight sections in a left sidebar, ordered by the jobs you do, with a rebuilt tour.

  34. Account-takeover and velocity signals in screening

Screening now looks for signs of account takeover, the same identity used across many orders in a short time, and orders linked to each other.

    What account takeover means

  35. Forward chargeback emails to Verdikx

Forward chargeback notices from any processor or bank to your Verdikx address and they become cases.

    See chargeback management

  36. One name: Verdikx

The product carries the Verdikx name everywhere: the app, emails and evidence packets.

  37. Security hardening

Two-factor authentication is enforced by the database itself, not only in the app.

    How we secure your data

  38. Branded sign-in emails

Sign-in and password emails come from Verdikx, with links on verdikx.com.

  39. Security, privacy and performance hardening

A broad pass over security headers, access checks and page speed.

    How we secure your data

  40. Verdikx moves to verdikx.com

The website, the app and links in every email now live on verdikx.com.

  41. Stay signed in

Fixed a problem that signed people out after an hour.

  42. Redesigned workspace

A top bar for navigation and live summary cards on every dashboard page.

  43. Command centre and a multi-processor cases queue

An overview of what needs attention, one queue for disputes from every connected processor, and a verdict on every screened order.

  44. New website

A redesigned verdikx.com with solution pages and a simpler contact page.

    Visit the Verdikx home page

  45. Automatic exports for Shopify customer data requests

When a shopper asks a Shopify store for their data, Verdikx gathers what it holds about that customer and emails the merchant a download link, so the store can answer. Autopilot also respects each dispute's currency.

  46. Shopify evidence submission and returns abuse

Submit evidence for Shopify Payments disputes from Verdikx where Shopify allows it, and review returns for refund abuse.

    See returns and refund abuse

  47. Autopilot, reason-code playbooks and Visa CE 3.0

Autopilot submits responses inside rules and limits you set, where the processor allows it. Playbooks match evidence to each reason code, with Visa Compelling Evidence 3.0 support, plus Klarna, Afterpay and WooCommerce in beta.

    How Autopilot works

  48. Setup guide

A step-by-step guide to connecting processors, customer conversations, fulfillment data and risk rules.

  49. AI contradiction finder, risk rules and a public API

Find where a cardholder's claim contradicts your records, write your own risk rules, pull in customer conversations, and connect your own tools through the API.

    About the AI contradiction finder

  50. Starter, Growth and Pro plans

Three plans, with the features of each enforced on the server.

    See plans and pricing

  51. Reliable evidence PDFs

Fixed evidence packet PDFs that could fail to generate.

  52. Privacy policy, terms and support pages

Public privacy, terms, support and data-processing pages.

    Read the privacy policy

  53. Stripe disputes linked to Shopify orders

A Stripe dispute is matched to the Shopify order it came from, so its evidence uses that order's records.

    See the Stripe connection

  54. Stripe disputes and pre-fulfillment screening

Import Stripe disputes, see which sales channel an order came from, and screen orders before they ship.

  55. Works inside Shopify admin

Install, sign in, approve a plan and use Verdikx without leaving Shopify admin.
