What it finds
A chargeback is a claim: the order never arrived, the purchase was not authorized, the refund never came, the subscription was cancelled. The contradiction finder reads the claim and looks for records you already hold that say otherwise:
- "Not received" against a carrier delivery scan to the order's address, or a later customer message confirming the parcel arrived.
- "Unauthorized" against repeat purchases by the same customer that were never disputed.
- "Credit not processed" against a refund already recorded on the order.
- "Subscription cancelled" against the timing of the cancellation and the charge.
Each finding names the claim it contradicts, how strong it is, and the exact record it relies on, with a quote. You approve each finding before it goes into the response.
How it stays accurate
Rule-based detectors run first and cite records directly. An AI pass then looks for anything the rules missed, but it may cite only the numbered facts it was given, and every AI finding is re-checked against those records before you see it. Missing records never count as a contradiction: no message proves nothing. Carrier scans show where a parcel was left, not who received it, and the finding says so.
Consistency checks on your own evidence
Before you submit, Verdikx also checks your evidence against itself and flags what a bank reviewer would notice, such as a carrier report whose tracking number is not on the order or a delivery scan dated before the order was placed, with what to check next.
Where it fits
The contradiction finder is on every plan, alongside AI-drafted responses, and Autopilot from Growth. Its rule-based checks run on every case. The AI claim check (its AI pass) shares the monthly AI allowance with AI drafts, and a case that gets both counts once. Starter: AI drafts and the AI claim check for 10 cases a month, one shared count; Growth and Pro: unlimited (fair use). Findings lead the evidence packet and the response letter. See friendly fraud and item not received disputes for the disputes where it matters most.
Frequently asked questions
What is the AI contradiction finder?
A Verdikx feature that sets the cardholder's dispute claim against your records (delivery scans, customer messages, refunds, repeat purchases, cancellation timing) and lists each contradiction with the exact record behind it, so your response leads with the evidence that disproves the claim.
Can the AI invent evidence?
No. The AI may cite only the numbered facts drawn from your records, every AI finding is re-checked against those records, and anything that does not hold up is dropped. Missing records never count as a contradiction.
Which plans include it?
Every plan. The rule-based checks run on every case. Starter: AI drafts and the AI claim check for 10 cases a month, one shared count; Growth and Pro: unlimited (fair use). A case that gets both an AI draft and an AI claim check counts once. Evidence packets and consistency checks are on every plan too.
Does a contradiction guarantee I win?
No. Banks and card networks decide disputes. A contradiction is strong evidence, and the finder makes sure it is in front of the reviewer.
