Set up Autopilot
Let Verdikx prepare drafts for every case, or also submit the strong ones inside limits you choose, where the processor allows it.
Where in VerdikxAutomation → Autopilot & screening → Autopilot
Before you start
Autopilot is included with Growth and Pro.
Turn it on
- Open Automation → Autopilot & screening.
- On the Autopilot card, tick Turn on autopilot for this store.
- Choose a mode:
- Prepare drafts only (the default): Verdikx prepares a draft and packet for each case; you submit.
- Prepare and auto-submit eligible cases: Verdikx also submits cases that meet every limit below.
- Click Save autopilot settings.
Limits for auto-submit
- Processors to auto-submit and Dispute reasons to auto-submit (by default item not received and fraudulent / unrecognized).
- Minimum evidence: Basic, Standard (default) or Strong.
- Auto-submit up to (amount): default 500, in your store currency. Cases in another currency are never auto-submitted.
- Submit hours before deadline: 6 to 240 hours, default 48.
- Require carrier delivery proof for “not received” disputes (on by default).
Timing and safety
- A case is scheduled at least 6 hours before it is sent, so you can review or cancel it.
- Nothing is submitted within 2 hours of the deadline.
- An unreviewed edit you saved blocks the submission until you review it.
Which processors can be auto-submitted
Stripe, Braintree and Checkout.com (PayPal and Square once their direct connections are available for your store; Settings lists only the ones that are). Shopify Payments only when your case shows Submit to Shopify. Adyen and Authorize.net cases are prepared and you get an alert; Klarna, Afterpay and WooPayments are never auto-submitted.
Each case shows its Autopilot state, and if it is blocked, why (for example “Over amount limit” or “Evidence too weak”).
Handled by Autopilot
Every open case says Handled by Autopilot, or Not on Autopilot with the one reason, for example “amount is above your $500 cap” with a Change limits link. On Disputes → Cases, filter Autopilot → Handled by Autopilot or Not on Autopilot.
Handled by Autopilot means Autopilot will actually send the evidence: the submission is scheduled, being sent, or was sent. A case is Not on Autopilot when:
- its submission failed (Autopilot doesn't retry it; submit it yourself before the deadline),
- too little time is left before the deadline, or the deadline is unknown,
- it isn't among each store's 50 newest open cases from the last 120 days, which are the ones Autopilot works on,
- Autopilot hasn't picked it up or scheduled it yet (it checks again on its next run).
Cases Autopilot leaves to you
- Cases you marked Intentional fraud: don't fight get no draft and are never submitted.
- Cases you chose to accept in Shopify admin are never submitted while you do.
- When the Worth fighting? check says Accept (your handling cost is at least what a win returns), Autopilot holds the case for your review. Autopilot never accepts a dispute.
