Get started without Shopify (WooCommerce, other platforms, processors)
Create a workspace on the Verdikx website, pay by card, connect your store and processors. What works, how fast, and how your data is kept.
Where in Verdikxverdikx.com → Sign up → Set up your workspace
Create your workspace
- Sign up at the Verdikx website with your email or Google.
- On Set up your workspace, answer What do you sell on?: WooCommerce, Another platform (BigCommerce, Wix, Magento, Squarespace or your own checkout) or Just disputes from my processors. (Choosing Shopify installs Verdikx on your Shopify store instead.)
- Name the workspace and, if you like, add your website.
- Choose a plan. Your account's first plan starts with a free trial (one per account), and plans are paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link (bank transfer on yearly plans). Manage or cancel it any time under Billing → Manage billing.
- Finish the checklist on Connections.
Connect your store and processors
- WooCommerce: paste your store URL and a Read/Write REST API key (WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API). Orders, customers, refunds and WooPayments disputes import. Verdikx adds two order webhooks to your store, so new orders are screened about a minute after checkout. With a Read-only key, orders sync every 30 minutes instead, and are screened within about 30 minutes.
- BigCommerce, commercetools, VTEX and Miva (beta): paste the API credentials each platform issues (BigCommerce: a store-level API account with Orders, Customers and Information read-only scopes). Orders, shipments and tracking, refunds and customers sync every 30 minutes into screening and evidence; nothing is written back to these stores yet.
- Wix, Squarespace and Magento 2 (beta): paste the API credentials each platform issues (Wix: your site ID and an API key with Wix Stores read permissions; Squarespace: a Developer API key with Orders read; Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce: your store URL and an integration access token). Orders, customers, fulfillments and tracking and refund totals sync every 30 minutes, read-only.
- Marketplaces and other storefronts (beta): Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop and other marketplaces are listed on the roadmap of the Connections page until they open for your account; any other platform can send orders through the universal connector. Your processors' disputes work today.
- Processors: Stripe, plus Braintree, Adyen, Checkout.com, Authorize.net, Klarna, Afterpay and more in beta (PayPal and Square are coming soon). Disputes import into one queue; reviewed evidence is submitted from the case wherever the processor has an API for it, otherwise you send the packet and mark it sent.
- Chargeback email forwarding: for any processor or bank Verdikx can't connect to, forward its chargeback emails to your Verdikx address.
What is different from a Shopify store
- There are no Shopify tags or fulfillment holds: verdicts and their reasons are shown in Verdikx, and blocking a customer flags their new orders here. On WooCommerce (beta), each verdict is added to the order as a private note and order meta, and a High risk order is set to on-hold when Hold High risk orders automatically is on (a Read/Write key is needed); Approve order and Release hold put it back. Other platforms get no write-back yet.
- Shopify Payments disputes don't apply; your disputes come from your processors.
- Risk rules act on Shopify orders, so they don't run on this workspace's orders yet. Screening, the Blocked and Trusted lists and alerts all work.
- Screening uses what Verdikx holds for your orders (customer history, refunds, chargebacks, velocity, order value, email, your Blocked and Trusted lists). Shopify's own risk analysis, the checkout IP and card details aren't available, and missing data never counts against a buyer.
More than one store
Each plan covers one store or workspace. Add another from the store menu at the top (Add a non-Shopify workspace). A Shopify store you add is billed through Shopify, separately, with its own plan, and never uses your card plan.
Removing a workspace, cancelling, deleting your account
- Remove a workspace (Settings → Your store): its connections stop at once and its data is deleted 48 hours later.
- Cancel your plan (Billing → Manage billing): access continues to the end of the paid period. Your workspaces' data is then kept for 30 days in case you come back, and deleted after that. Choosing a plan again before then keeps everything.
- Delete your account (Settings → Delete account): every workspace's data and your login are deleted right away, and your card subscription ends with no further charge. A Shopify store must be uninstalled from Shopify admin first.
