Finish the setup checklist

The checklist at the top of Connections shows what is connected and links to each next step.

Where to find it

Open Connections. The checklist sits at the top and says Finish setting up Verdikx until every step is done. It checks your real data, not a form you fill in.

The steps

  1. Connect your Shopify store.
  2. Bring in your orders. Done once orders arrive from Shopify. A store with no orders yet has nothing to do here: new orders come in on their own.
  3. Verify evidence capture. Done once order snapshots are saved in the evidence vault. No test order is needed: the first snapshot is saved with your first order.
  4. AI-assisted drafting (optional). Verdikx sets this up; it does not count toward finishing setup.
  5. Review and save a case response. Shown once your first dispute arrives.
  6. Connect your payment processors (optional). Stripe, Braintree, Adyen, Checkout.com, Authorize.net, Klarna or Afterpay (PayPal and Square are coming soon). Shopify Payments disputes already come in, so if you only use Shopify Payments there is nothing to connect and this step doesn't count toward finishing setup.
  7. Add customer conversations. Connect a helpdesk (Gorgias, Zendesk, Intercom and others, in beta). Part of Growth and Pro.
  8. Add subscription, returns and tracking data. Optional: Recharge, Skio, Loop or AfterShip (beta).
  9. Turn on prevention rules. Set up risk rules for risky orders. Part of Pro.

A step your plan doesn't include is marked optional, with the plan that includes it, and never counts toward finishing setup, so every plan can finish it. Each step has a button that opens the exact place to finish it.
