Repeat disputers: block buyers who dispute again and again

See buyers who disputed more than once at your store and block them in one click, with undo.

Where in VerdikxOrders → Customers → Repeat disputers (and Home)

What the card shows

Repeat disputers lists every buyer who disputed two or more different orders at your store, all time: the buyer, what matched them, the number of disputed orders, the amounts (per currency) and the last dispute. One order counts once, even when it has several dispute records (an inquiry that became a chargeback, or the same chargeback imported twice). Only your own store's disputes are used; the Verdikx Network is never shown here. Home shows the newest few under Needs you until you block them. A block that has expired no longer counts as Blocked. Click a buyer to open them on the Customers page.

How buyers are matched

  • The same email or the same phone number joins two disputes.
  • A card (BIN and last four) or a shipping address alone is often shared (family cards, apartment buildings), so they join disputes only when both match together. Those buyers show Review orders first instead of a Block button.

Block a buyer

  1. Click Block and confirm.
  2. Their email and phone are added to your blocklist with the reason "Repeat disputer" (an expired block for the same email or phone is renewed). New orders from them are held for your review, and their open orders from the last 14 days are checked again and held too. These blocklist entries hold orders; they never cancel them.
  3. Changed your mind? Click Undo in the message that appears. Undo removes the block and releases the holds and the "Verdikx: blocklist" tags it placed on those orders. A hold that a risk rule, the High-risk hold, another blocklist entry or a customer you still block also needs stays, and holds you or other apps placed are never touched. Notifications already sent stay in your inbox. Removing the entries on the Blocklist page instead leaves held orders on hold until you release them.

Blocking is included with Growth and Pro. If the Hold orders from repeat chargeback customers rule is off, the card suggests turning it on.

Stop the next chargeback before it starts.
