Create risk rules and use templates
Rules act on screened orders: tag, note, alert you, publish a risk level or hold fulfillment. Pro plan.
Where in VerdikxAutomation → Risk rules
Start from a template
Open Automation → Risk rules and, under Start from a template, click Enable template. Templates include:
- Hold high-risk orders over $500
- Tag first-time international orders with mismatched addresses
- Hold orders from repeat chargeback customers
- Flag large orders from disposable emails
- Alert on rapid repeat orders
- Hold account takeovers and card testing
- Hold orders from Tor or data-centre IPs over $200
- Tag likely refund abusers
Create your own
- Click New rule.
- Name it and set a Priority (lower numbers run first). You can also change the run order later by dragging a rule by its handle, or with the ↑ and ↓ buttons; rules run top to bottom.
- Choose whether the order must match all or any conditions, then + Add condition (risk score, verdict, order total, country, shipping method, email type, velocity, customer history, On your blocklist, Blocklist match type, IP country, IP distance and proxy / Tor / data-centre IPs, and more).
- + Add action: tag the order, add a note, publish a risk level to Shopify, hold fulfillment, alert me, or recommend cancelling.
- Optionally tick Stop after this rule. Use Test on past orders to see what it would have done, then click Save rule.
Rules never cancel an order. Unknown data never matches a condition. Each store can have up to 50 rules.
Check what happened
Recent matches lists each match and whether each action was done, skipped or failed (for example when Shopify permission is missing).
