Automatic order capture shows “not subscribed”

One of Shopify's feeds (orders, fulfillments, refunds or disputes) isn't reaching Verdikx. Here's how to fix it.

Where in VerdikxConnections → Automatic order capture

What it means

The Shopify card on Connections (and the top of Orders) lists four feeds: Orders, Fulfillments, Refunds and Disputes. Each should say subscribed. “Not subscribed” means Shopify isn't sending that kind of update to Verdikx.

Verdikx usually repairs this on its own: while it does, the card says Reconnecting automatic capture… No action needed.

If a permission is missing

If the card says some feeds need a Shopify permission:

  1. On the website, open Connections and click Update Shopify permissions on the Shopify card. You don't need to disconnect the store.
  2. Approve the additional access in Shopify.
  3. Come back to Connections. The card re-checks every minute.

The Update Shopify permissions button is on the website version of Connections. If you only use Verdikx inside Shopify admin, sign in on the website with Continue with Shopify and your store address, or contact support.

Other messages

  • “Automatic capture could not be reconnected yet”: click Sync orders to import the latest orders; Verdikx keeps retrying.
  • “Order processing is running behind”: if it lasts more than an hour, contact support.
  • “Waiting for the first saved order capture”: normal right after installing; it changes after your next order.
  • Refunds and customer details depend on Shopify's protected customer data access for Verdikx.

Stop the next chargeback before it starts.
