Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions merchants ask most.
Where in VerdikxAnywhere
Does Verdikx submit responses for me?
Only when you click submit, or when you turn on Autopilot's auto-submit mode with your own limits, where the processor allows it. Verdikx never accepts a dispute for you.
Will screening cancel or hold my orders?
Verdikx never cancels an order on its own. With order screening (Growth and up), it holds risky Shopify orders and orders from customers you block, and you decide whether to cancel; a cancel is always yours, after a confirmation. Automatic refunds of pre-dispute alerts within your cap are a separate opt-in (Growth and up). Autopilot never accepts a dispute; you accept one only after a confirmation. High-risk orders are held automatically by default; you can turn this off in your screening settings (Automation → Order screening), and you can release or approve any hold. Orders are also held when a risk rule you created or a blocklist entry says so.
Do you take a percentage of what I win?
Not on the self-serve plans. Starter, Growth and Pro are monthly or yearly subscriptions with usage included: no success fee, no revenue share and no percentage of order value, so Verdikx takes no cut of what you win back. See Plans, prices and the free trial.
Does screening slow down or block my checkout?
No. Verdikx screens each order after it is placed and before it ships, from the order webhook, within a few minutes. It never sits in your checkout, so shoppers are never declined while paying. Order screening is included with Growth and Pro. See Order screening and verdicts.
Can you guarantee I'll win?
No. Banks and card networks decide disputes. Verdikx helps you send complete, well-organized evidence on time.
What does the AI see?
A limited set of order and shipping facts for the case. Customer names, emails, addresses and your uploaded files are not sent.
Do I need a Shopify store?
No. Shopify stores install Verdikx as a Shopify app, and order screening runs on new Shopify orders within a few minutes; on Pro a Shopify workspace can also sync a WooCommerce store. Merchants on WooCommerce (beta), another platform or with processor disputes only sign up on verdikx.com and pay by card. Disputes from any connected processor, emailed notice, CSV or the API are handled wherever the sale happened.
Does Verdikx change my customers in Shopify?
No. Blocking a customer tags their orders; Verdikx never edits the customer record.
Which processors do you support?
Shopify Payments and Stripe, plus Braintree, Adyen, Checkout.com, Authorize.net, Klarna, Afterpay and WooPayments in beta, plus any processor or bank by email forwarding or CSV. Beta connections are fully built and supported, and are now opening to their first merchants, so we work closely with every merchant who connects one. Shopify Payments, Stripe and email, CSV and API intake are generally available. Direct PayPal and Square connections are coming soon.
