Test a risk rule on past orders

Before you turn on or change a rule, see how many recent orders it would have held or flagged and what happened to them. Read-only. Pro plan.

Where in VerdikxAutomation → Risk rules → New rule or Edit → Test on past orders

Steps

  1. Open Automation → Risk rules and click New rule, or Edit on a rule.
  2. Set the conditions and actions.
  3. Under Test on past orders, click Last 30 days or Last 90 days.

You see how many screened orders the rule would have held (with a hold action) or flagged, their value, how many were later disputed, refunded or neither, and a few example orders. Nothing is saved, held or tagged.

What it can and can't check

The test replays your stored screening records: the score, verdict and reasons as they were, the order total and items, the buyer's email and earlier orders, refunds and disputes at your store, and the stored IP lookup.

Past orders don't keep addresses, shipping method, Shopify's risk level, device, card and other velocity counts, Verdikx Network signals or blocklist matches. Conditions on those can't match in the test, and it says so: the real rule may match more orders. Customer account age uses the customer's first order at your store.

If Verdikx has screening records for fewer days than you chose, the result says how many days it covers.
