The Verdikx Network and your privacy
Opt-in: stores that join share chargeback and refund-abuse outcomes as one-way hashes. No store sees another store or its customers.

What it does
The Verdikx Network is opt-in and off until you join. When your store participates and a buyer has charged back or abused refunds at other participating stores, screening can take it into account (for example “Network: chargebacks”). Signals flow only between stores that joined.
What is shared
Only outcomes: chargebacks, refund abuse, orders still undisputed after 120 days, and won disputes. Only disputes reported by a processor or Shopify count.
Your decisions are never shared: Approve order, Hold order, Undo my decision, blocking, unblocking or trusting a customer, and your blocklist only teach your own store's screening.
Privacy
- Identifiers such as email, phone and address are turned into keyed one-way hashes (HMAC-SHA256, with a key that never leaves the server) before storage. Device IDs are never shared.
- Stores never see other stores, their orders or their customers.
- A signal is shown only when at least 3 other participating merchant accounts reported it; one merchant with several stores counts once.
- Older outcomes count less and are dropped after 3 years.
- Signals are only for fraud prevention: never for credit, employment, insurance or housing decisions.
Join
Open Settings → Verdikx Network, read what is shared and received, tick the agreement to the Verdikx Network terms and click Join Verdikx Network. Verdikx records the terms version and the date you agreed.
Your responsibilities: use signals only to prevent fraud and abuse, mention fraud-prevention sharing in your privacy notice, and review flagged orders before acting.
Leave
Open Settings → Verdikx Network, click Leave Verdikx Network and confirm. It takes effect immediately: your store stops sharing and receiving, and its past contributions are deleted.
